Tribute & Message From The Family

What a sweet face.

Message From The Family

Thank you for your support during this difficult time. Please enhance this tribute to Biskitt by adding your memories and photos.

Biskitt was one of the most loyal dogs ever. She didn't care much for other dogs, especially her step-brother, Beau! She was a people dog.

One of her favorite things to do was tickle her back under trees, dust ruffles and clothes. She would walk in slow motion where the leaves or fabric would touch her lightly and her legs would shake. She did that since she was a young pup. Biskitt loved to swim. Even in her older years, she would jump right in, so we had to keep a life jacket on her around water.

She was loved by Pat, friends and family.

We said goodbye to her in her 15th year, and Paws, Whiskers and Wags took great care of her and her people.

I sure know what is like to have a personable Cocker. This is our second one and he is so much of our lives and it will hurt when we have to say goodby to him. I am so glad that you had so many years with her - she is a wonderful doll.

I used to see Biskitt with her head hanging out the window as Pat would drive through town. It always put a big smile on my face. I'm so sorry for her loss. RIP.

Who could forget those long, soft ears bouncing around as Biskitt pranced at the dog park? She had a sweet disposition and was loved by many. Rest in peace, faithful friend!

As a dog owner, I know how emotionally attached you become to your pets. It's a unique bond. They see you at your best and worst, and never judge..or at least they can't communicate their judgment ;)

Please accept my sincere condolences over the passing of Biskitt. I'm sure she meant so much to you and that your loss is deep and profound. May your sweet memories of her help you through this transition.

Life Stories

My name is Gloria and I used to see Pat and Biskitt at the dog park. She didn't care much for socializing with the other dogs but preferred to greet every human in the vicinity in between her extensive and thorough sniffing of the grounds. One day when I was feeling blue and my dog was off paying with the others, Biskitt came trotting up to me. I know it sounds crazy, but I really think she sensed my mood and knew I could use a friend. She sat next to me, looking up at me with her soulful eyes as if to say, "It's okay, you're not alone, thing will get better." With her by my side, my mood lifted and just when I started feeling better, she jumped up, gave a little goodbye bark, and went running back to Pat--stopping along the way to greet a young couple with a baby and a rambunctious Lab whom she ignored. Animals touch emotions inside of you that humans cannot. Their devotion, unconditional love and enthusiasm are unique and beautiful. Pat, please know that we are all thinking of you as you mourn the passing of your friend, Biskitt. She lives on in our memories.

My name is Emily and Biskitt lived next door to me. I am 7 years old. Biskitt was the sweetest dog in town. She loved giving kisses. She would sit for me and give me her paw for a cookie. I used to visit her and pet her soft fur and she would wag her tail when she saw me coming. I will miss her a lot. Here is a picture of my two friends, Pat and Biskitt.
